Hot Tips January 21, 2008 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
As an economist and investor in Asian markets I always enjoy and recommend reading investment tips and insights from those on the frontline and also do not shy from investing their own money. Its good to read this book from those who did it already and they have my admiration for getting this far. In the end it is one of the most difficult tasks to make more out of your own money (especially given now the turbulent markets). So read this excellently written book where Jim and Al give first hand advice for your personal financial future successes.
Perhaps the answer !!! January 13, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
At last a book i understand .Well written and in layman's language ! doesnt bore one by dwelling for too long on each Idea . i like the concept of looking to the topical green issues as the part of one's portfolio for the future . for once the authors do not talk down to the reader , and i now feel better equipped to at least aim for their very practical and achievable targets .
Essential for securing your financial future January 10, 2008 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
On publication I read "wake Up" and was a little cycnical about some of the books claims, however, the authors have been proven correct time and time again, the Credit Crunch, diminshing Western financial dominance and unprecedented growth of the Asian markets. Being fortunate to preview this book I have already found it to be insightful and surprising, exactly what will give me the financial edge in the securing my future. Unmissable for both the large and small investor.

Finally a book that is written in easy to understand language giving us the know how on how to be financially better off in ten years time. Too many people feel intimidated when talking to a financial professionals, who to be honest seem to reap a lot of benefits on their clients (read: us)behalf. Time to educate ourselves and take control of our own financial destiny. Mellon and Chalabi had it right in their first book and this their second one has come at the perfect time. I look forward to being in a stronger financial position within the next ten years. I am planning to recommend this book also to friends and family that are not financially investment savvy.
