I began this book with some good, vague ideas about the kind of e-commerce website that I wished to write and build. By the time I had finished it, I had not just a tight and excellent strategy, but also the tactics to back it up. The book is very well written indeed. It promises and delivers a formula for web-writing that sells. It also excited me. It was like having an expert by my side who prompted me to ask questions. The net result? I felt stimulated into developing the core formula for myself. By the end, I was running with the ball. A fantastic book.

As a web developer I spend a great deal of time thinking about page design. It has taken some time to get around to thinking about the copy I place in between the nice graphics. Veloso takes you through the basic structure of good copy and some of the theory of what makes copy work with good examples. I didn't buy all the tips, but overall it made me think about my site and how I structure the words on the page in addition to the graphical elements.

A good read for anyone wanting to produce more effective copy.

Such an inspiration: this book is full of golden advice and straightforward recommendations on how to build strong sales techniques into web pages and marketing emails. It really is indispensable for anybody involved in using the web to sell absolutely anything.

One of the best things about it is that it wasted absolutely no time. Just about every page is direct, easy to follow and builds into a compelling tutorial on successful e-marketing.
