A snug fit! January 26, 2007 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
This case is ideal to protect your A700 in. There's just enough room to keep spare memory cards and the front pocket can stash four AA batteries. The case seems to be well finished and the overall quality is very good.
Do not buy for the A640 or A630 November 18, 2006 41 out of 46 found this review helpful
The case is too small for the A640 and A630. For these cameras you need the Canon DCC-300 case.
The product advertisement is misleading.
A700 protected and easy to cary November 15, 2006 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
A good compact case, which provides main camera storage where the A700 fits neatly and does not slosh around as a general case from a retailer may. Store your memory card and extra batteries in the extra compartment and interior net section.
I have a larger bag for additional lenses, tripod, etc. However this case is just the right size for days out. Either carry it by hand or use the shoulder strap provided.
Go for Canon products, customer made and of high quality.
Canon A620 owners beware November 2, 2006 30 out of 30 found this review helpful
I bought this case for my Canon Powershot A620, following the link on Amazon from the A620 page. However, when it arrived, I found that the case is too small for A620. The case is described on the packaging as being compatible with A500 series and A700 series, but no mention of A600 series. Amazon has since removed the A620 form the list of compatible cameras on the DC-80 page.
The case itself is compact and seems well made, although it lacks the soft lining and padding of the more bulky Lowepro DRES 10 AW which I eventually purchased (which is a good fit for A620).
