Great deal, Great Graphics May 22, 2005 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
After installing the graphics card I found that the computer was slower for the first couple of times when I went on it but now it's fine. This is a great deal and would reccommend it to anyone thats looking to buy one for games. You will need a decend processer to run it smothly though. (I got a 2.66 ghz) Over all a great card
Not a particularly fast gaming card but.. April 5, 2005 6 out of 12 found this review helpful
It is silent! This was the best card around without a fan at the price I was willing to pay. FWIW, in the only 3d game I have (Forsaken), I got double the frame rates over the gF2MX it replaced!A perfectly adequate card for all but serious game play.

I bought this card for use with The Sims 2 and though I'm sure there are fantastic cards out there, for a girl on a budget this was a good find. The game now runs with all high specs, which is basically what I was looking for. Take into consideration the other reviews before purchase, and also get advice on what you want it for. I got a lot of advice before making the purchase, simply because it is quite a large one (for me) moneywise. Summary + Cheap + Did what I wanted it to + Makes the Sims 2 all purty :)
Ok card January 5, 2005 32 out of 37 found this review helpful
For the price the card is great, but do not be fooled by the 256 Ram, I won't go in to great detail why this card isn't great. For general home use and not actualy needing graphic power this would suit you down to the ground. HOWEVER, if you intend to play high spec graphical games or do video editing, then spend a little extra and get a 256 BIT (not ram) graphics card.
Large ram does not make a good graphic card February 19, 2004 22 out of 39 found this review helpful
I disagree with the above reviews. This graphic cards will cope with most current games. However, half life 2 etc no chance. i know it has 256mb ram but this does not mean it is good. Save your money for the next model up.
