5 out of 5 stars Comfortable, Reliable, Fast, Cheap   April 26, 2005

This mouse is great. It has a nice ergonomic design. It's comfortable to hold. It's very reliable. The scroll-wheel is quiet and can be used very quickly. The red LED glow is attractive, and does not produce a blinding laser light as another reviewer said. The mouse runs smoothly, with very little friction, over most surfaces. The only criticism I have is that my particular mouse doesn't sit completely flat on my surface. It rocks a little bit. This is slightly annoying but it isn't a major problem

Had this mouse for about 2 years now and not a single problem whatsoever, cant get a better price than this. Unlike some of the reviews I dont find the light that bright and it does add a certain amount of elegance to it...maybe its not the mouse giving you headaches but the computer screen (screen filter anyone).....anyway best mouse I know, so my sister has one for her laptop and 3 of my friends also have the mouse
Regards

2 out of 5 stars good while it lasted   January 31, 2005

technically speaking it's bloody good, does what it says on the box and looks very nice to boot.

Shame the damn left click button broke in less than a year and I see that I am not the only one afflicted with said breakage.

Lesson learnt: price, looks and a major brand name isn't everything. I'm opting for a similar but cheaper model now, I bet it last longer too(!)

Precise, fast and excellent mouse despite of poor design. Very good for games and applications.

5 out of 5 stars Ergonomic, Silver, Smart & Cheap   December 8, 2004

I just bought a Microsoft Optical Mouse Blue from Amazon. So far I am happy with my purchase.

The mouse has a very ergonomic shape, filling the palm of your hand, making it comfortable to hold and use. I previously had a Sony VAIO mouse, which was very small and flat, and uncomfortable to hold.

In the product photos, this mouse appears to be blue and white. So, as you can imagine, I was surprised when I received mine from Amazon to discover that it was blue and SILVER. Yes, this mouse is blue and silver!

Some reviewers have complained about the scroll wheel. While it's perhaps not as stiff as those found on other mice, it's effortless to use and functions effectively.

What I like about this mouse is the fact that it ISN'T wireless. Sure, wireless mice are technologically impressive and look cool, but do you really want to be worrying about things like charging up your mouse, changing it's batteries, and keeping an eye on it's remaining power? With a wired mouse you don't have to worry about any of these factors; it just works.
