Are the MySQL databases really included in my package cost?
Yes, unlike many hosts we do not charge for MySQL databases, the number of databases shown on each package above are available instantly for your use with no set-up or additional fees.

Do you offer unlimited packages?
Although some hosts claim to offer them, unlimited bandwidth and disk space do not exist. All 'unlimited' hosts actually impose limits on your usage but often without telling you what those limits are.

We believe clients should know in advance what their account limits are and so be able to make an informed decision on which package best suits their needs.

What happens if I exceed my bandwidth or disk space limits?
You will receive an email from us asking you to either upgrade your account or purchase more capacity. If we don't hear back from you within 24 hours your site may be suspended until the next calendar month when bandwidth totals are reset or until you bring your disk space usage into line with your account limit.

Will I be able to upgrade my account?
Yes, you can upgrade your packages at any time. Please see our knowledge base for details of our upgrade policy.

Are there any anti-spam or coding restrictions on your servers?
Yes, as a responsible host we have a number of important restrictions in place to tackle the sending of spam and to ensure a high quality of service for all users. Details of these can be found in our terms and conditions.

Can you help me build my website?
Sorry, we can't help build your site although we do know a number of excellent web developers and we'd be happy to put you in touch with them.

Do accounts come with telnet/SSH access?
For security reasons none of our accounts currently come with Telnet or SSH access, however our advanced control panel allows complete management of your site and files.

Which programming languages can I use for my site?
Depending on your type of account (Linux or Windows) you canuse ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, WML, DHTML, Java, Javascript, ActiveX, Flash (and Shockwave), PHP, Perl, Python, and cURL.

Please note that our Windows servers are set to run at Medium security level which is Microsoft's "recommended default trust level for Internet facing servers and for servers that run shared hosting customers" and as a consequence ASP.NET scripts are unable to access MS Access databases and will need to use the MySQL databases provided.

Can I use more than one domain with my account (i.e. domain pointers or aliases)?
Yes, all packages allow you to point multiple domains to a single website. You can also create sub domains (http://you.yoursite.com) however unless you are purchasing a reseller package each SiteHQ® account may only be used to host one website.

Can I use my existing domain?
Yes! You may either leave your domain with your current registrar and point the nameservers at your SiteHQ® account or transfer the domain to us to manage.

Which domain extensions can I register with my SiteHQ® account?
You can use any ICANN or Nominet accredited domain extension with our servers. However, if you wish us to register your domain for you, you must pick from the following: .co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info.

Other domain extensions can be purchased, please contact us for a quote.

Who owns the domain?
All domain names are registered in your name and remain your legal property at all times subject to any terms imposed by the naming authorities

Do you have a money-back guarantee?


Yes, UK based, private (non commercial clients) who are not satisfied with their new account may cancel within seven days of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price less any domain, SSL or upgrade related charges.

Note: This offer does not apply where we terminate an account for any breaches of our AUP.

Do you offer a trial package?
No, trial packages are not available.

How do I place my order?
To start your order please click the 'buy' button under the package you have selected, you will then be guided through the order process.

How long does it take for my account to become active?
All orders are activated within 24 hours of receipt of payment (please note our sales office opening hours are 9am - 18.30). At times of increased demand your order may take a little while longer to be processed.

Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept a wide variety of credit and debit cards via PayPal or NoChex. If you prefer not pay online we can also accept bank transfers.

No we are not a reseller. Our network of servers are leased directly from some of the world's largest suppliers of servers on both sides of the Atlantic and domain fulfillment is provided by external suppliers. We have carefully selected our suppliers to ensure the best possible quality of service to our clients.

Where are your servers located?
Our servers are located in the UK and the United States.
