solution to the questions/problems below... September 9, 2007 In response to the gripes below about not being able to access the MP3s on disc 2, I have found a solution. I used the dMC Audio CD Input software found on the net, and I was able to rip the tracks from disc 2, then play them on my computer.
No MP3's as `well June 1, 2007 Fantastic set of CD's featuring the musings of Mssrs Gervais, Merchant and Pilkington. Its top class comedy and just hearing RG cracking up is enough to make you laugh. The joy is knowing that KP isnt saying these things for comedic value but he really does believe what he says. But like another reviewer I have been frustrated at not getting access to the MP3 files on disc 2. Have taken my first copy back to the shop for a replacement but still no joy. If anyone out in Webland can help that would be cool.
Anyone else having probs? March 26, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Maybe I'm being thick but I can't get the MP3 files on disc two to show up on my computer, and therefore can't playthem. It's really irritating me as this is comedy gold. Is anyone else struggling, or even better, struggled but found the solution?
Very Very funny.. A must get! (comedy genius) January 22, 2007 I must say I have never bought an AudioBook before.. but seeing as this was previously one of the No.1 selling Podcasts in the world I decided to get it on AudioCD and listen. The impressive thing about this CD is that the conversation is hilarious in Karl's misconceptions and misleading views, and you cannot truely share something as funny as the comedy on this CD. I truely suggest you purchase this if you are a fan of Ricky Gervais humour which can often be satriacal and you need a farily open mind to connect with the comedy.
Brilliant January 8, 2007 I have to agree with M Bison on everything here, despite the fact he tried to kill me in Street Fighter a number of times.
This brilliantly presented hilarity-packed box is bursting with laughs and completely worth every penny. Karl is the star of the show and I'm still unsure whether he is just a character or a genuine simpleton/nutcase hybrid. Ricky Gervais' reactions (and to a lesser extent Steve's) add a great deal to the laughs, and there isn't a minute that goes by when you aren't at very least chuckling. A very bad idea to listen while driving as you are guaranteed some very uncontrollable laughter, especially at Monkey News and Karl's diary
"Saw a fat man on the train playing a PSP, I looked closer and he was playing Darts. He's that fat and lazy he can't even be bothered to play a more active sport on a games console"
This is easily one of the best CD's (well, 3) ever released. If you like laughing, go and get it
