there are so few xaml books around at the moment but clearly there will be a whole heap of them soon with the release of avalon, wpf. i thought i would get ahead of the game so i purchased this book. its ok but not for beginners and i had to do a lot of additional research on the web to understand it. the author hardly uses examples or tries to make things simple. it does not seem like it would fit an advanced user either so i guess its around the intermediate level. i gave it 3 stars as i see that once i have connected with xaml the reference part will be useful. would i buy it again? definately not as the writting style is something akin to a person writing in a vacum without thought for the reader or the market they were aiming for. overall - dissapointed
