Maybe not the most exciting product to review, but it does exactly what it required of it. It protects the player from knocks and scratches. It also gives peace of mind when laying around the pool on holiday as it gives splash protection too.
Delivery of the item was good too. I'd have no worries about using the same supplier again.

As at least one other said, it's pricey for what it is, but it does do exactly the job intended, it is well designed for the purpose. You walkman still looks as good in the case as out, and above all it is protected from everyday wear and tear. Adds very little noticeable size to the device. Delivery was speedy. I would recommend investing in something like this, and this one was as good as I could find.

After seeing positive reviews I bought the case but I wish I hadn't. I cannot fault the seller's service but the product is useless, unless I just want to use it as a case. The volume zeroes itself when the case is on the player and it is just about impossible to get any action from the volume control. Other buttons are just as temperamental although they do respond slightly better. The price is also quite high (there seems to be another page with a cheaper price for the same product which I didn't see at the time of my purchase, or it wasn't there then) but I wouldn't mind so much if the thing actually worked. What I don't understand is how so many people seem to be able to use the controls without problems. I have the NWZ-A818 model.
Excellent Accessory to a Sony NWZ-A816/818 August 27, 2008
This is a perfect fit for the Sony, each button can be pressed easily and both the USB and phone jacks accessed without any problems. Even the reset and Hold buttons can be accessed and there is also a cut-out for a strap. I also liked the fact that the screen is protected without having to stick on added screen covers. I have now two Sony MP3 players and I've bought a second cover because I was so impressed with the first.
