Such a shame! December 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Argh!!! I cannot stand this headset any more! I bought this headset so i could get good mic quallity and looking at peoples reviews it came out pretty well. When i got it however it was dreadfull! The sensitivity is massive as i can throw a 5p coin onto a pillow more than 7ft away and it will pick up the sound! That means noisey computer fans and everyone around you can be heard!
Also the usb dongle is really anoying! I have to plug the dongle in BEFORE i start a programe to make it work and if i forget to do that, i have to crash out of whatever game im playing to plug the thing in. To make matters even worse it refuses to work with Live Messenger, one of the only programes i want it to work with! The speakers are alright, but they sound "tinny" for something that should cost 35.
I really wanted to like this set as they look really nice, the inbuilt controls work wonderfully and it is quite possibly the most comfortable headset ive ever used! I wear glasses and ive not experienced any pains! Its just the USB and the crap mic that ruins everything! Im pretty sure if you're gonna just use it for messenging and listening to music, it should be okay. But im sure you would be able to find something a lot cheeper that would be much better.

This product is a perfect headset for gamers or skype callers. It is clear and better than the Logitech 250 and 350.
Poor Quality June 7, 2008 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
I bought the Logitech Clear Chat Pro USB to work with Dragon Speech recognition software on my PC. Unfortunately, the microphone quality is so poor that it failed the software's own test of acceptable quality. The audio is not great either.
Having the controls of volume, mute etc on the earpiece is a nice design feature, but good design alone is not enough. If you want good sound quality, choose a model higher up the range.

Very pleased with this product. Using it for video chat on a Mac. - USB plug & play works well: device is recognised immediately - has very useful controls built in to headset: volume up/down & mic mute - mic boom is rubber which is better than plastic, in my opinion. folds up to vertical position when not in use which is also useful - the audio quality is very clear in audio/video chats for myself & the other participants - lastly, the headset is light & comfortable, although the earphones could be a little bigger
Highly recommended!
