This is a great little gadget, and does exactly what it says on the tin. It's not too flimsy, like some number pads but isn't bulky. A joy to use. Nice rubberised sides and well designed throughout. Excel, Calc and Explorer buttons are great, but there's no way (that I know of) to change their functions - Excel button ONLY opens Excel and not any other application (there's no way to change this, except maybe a registry hack), but Calc will open Calc and the Explorer button opens your default browser (mine is Firefox), which is great. All the device's buttons are on the chunky side (not low profile like the new Mac keyboards), so you know what you're doing and don't key in stuff by mistake. Tab, back and "(" ")" bracket keys are handy too. Comes with batteries (UK version), and the wireless dongle doesn't seem to affect or interfere with any other wireless stuff I use - wifi and a Kensington wireless mouse. Buy one...it's great!
