This is a truly awful product. ripped within seconds of placing my stone in it and was quite disappointed but not surprised when i saw how thin and weak the skin is. I'd recommend getting the stone plus as it's an azazing player for the size and money but this skin is poor. a clip and a sweatband seems much more suitable for this purpose.

This accessory that can be used to securely attach your Creative Zen Stone Plus safely out of the way on your upper arm, useful for example when working out at the Gym. (You still need to take care of the slack headphone cord of course).
The strap is made of elasticated material with fluffy velcro on one side. It attaches securely round your upper arm using the "hook" part of velcro which is at the very end of the strap. If you are a child or have very thin arms you might find that it won't attach tightly. This won't be a problem for most adults however. The smallest circumference it will fit around tightly is about 25cm.
As a result of reading a previous review here, I also bought a set of spare skins separately, assuming that the skin on this one would tear easily when I inserted the Stone. But I needn't have done so, there was no problem at all. Simply insert the Stone through the larger of the round holes on the front, not the slit at the back where the strap attaches. Then there's no problem at all.

The armband was a birthday present I was given along with the stone plus MP3 player.
I was so excited, a new gadget to play with (which I love) and the matching accessory go go with it. I Opened it up and immediately loved the simple armband with creative logo. I then looked at the skin, after a bit of messing around I got the paper packing out of the inside of the silicone skin, then started to put it on the mp3 player.
you can imagine my dismay when the skin promptly tore between one of the slits for the armband and the socket for the usb cable. I managed to get the thing on but it now seemed 'spoiled'.
Fortunately all was not lost as I had also bought a 3 pack of coloured skins for the zen stone plus. These come with a flat clip on the back which is the perfect size to clip over the arband so I now use one of these instead.
If anyone does buy this I would suggest you insert the mp3 player through the larger of the two circular holes NOT the slit on the back which seems more logical. It seems less likely to split this way.

I have a Zen Stone MP3 which is a fantastic piece of equipment for the Gym, simple to load, charge and use.
Therefore, I am sorry to say that the price of Creative Zen Stone Plus Armband cannot be justified.
The skin is far too weak for its purpose and tears easily when putting the MP3 into it.
I would recommend the Zen Stone Plus 3-1 pack direct from Creative products, these come with a clip attached to the back for far simpler use.
And i'm certain you can buy a sweatband for coppers that will do just as good if not better job, than the velcro strap that is effected by sweat in the Gym.
An elasticated sweatband with the clip type skin would be a far superior product and compliment a cracking MP3
