I purchased this case at the time I bought my camera, to protect my prized new gadget.
It seemed Ok, though not very protective for such a vulnerable high tec gizmo.
Imagine my surprise when on it's sixth outing,I was using it secured to my belt, to intermittently photograph showjumping at the NEC, when I stood up at the interval, the camera fell at my feet!!, the zip had parted on the case!!
Having repaired the zip I used the case the following week in the car, again attached to my belt, As I emerged from behind the steering wheel, the camera and case both ended on the ground, the webbing holding it to my belt had departed from the case at one end!!
Fortunately the camera is undamaged I think, so now I am going to pay the extra few pounds to buy a proper leather job.
Meanwhile I feel well and truly cheated by both Canon and Amazon!!
