HITACHI DZ-HV564E 1080P High Definition SD Video Camera January 8, 2009 This card does not work in a HITACHI DZ-HV564E 1080P High Definition SD Video Camera. It works fine in other devices so it still gets 3 stars.
@mackney
Good while it lasted.......... January 5, 2009 Bought this 3 months ago,has just packed up.I got an error about something to do with "semaphore...." ????? When i removed the card it was quite warm and now it wont even register.Wont use transcend again.
Does not work with the Zi6 December 27, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Amazon presents this memory card alongside the Kodak Zi6 camera. This implies that the two work together.
But the card does not work in the Zi6 - during playback, you get a red triangle with an exclamation mark. I'm going to get a premium brand next time.
no problems December 13, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
arrived in good time. had it a few months now and it's been working fine. Haven't had a chance to max it out but have had a few gigs of photo's on it at one go. use it in a panasonic dmc-tz5 and it functions fine - including all video modes.
Works perfectly in my Canon and my Mac December 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this card while waiting for my new Canon SX1 IS to arrive. I was pretty sure it would work, but all these tales of Transcend's incompatibility with many Canons did concern me a little, especially since I use only Macs (another impossibility according to some reviewers here). All I can say after a couple of days of playing around with the camera, the card, the reader and my old G4 Mac Powerbook is that the whole system has worked perfectly. For me, at least, there has been NO incompatibility with Mac OS 10.4 or OS 10.5, or with the Canon camera. I slot the card into the S5 Transcend reader; the reader into the USB slot on my Powerbook; the laptop takes 10 seconds to recognise the card, and then starts pulling through the pix at a phenomenal rate. Well worth the money. I can only suppose the one-star reviewers are very unlucky or haven't done enough buying research before buying. It's shame that these people have rated a wonderful card so poorly because of their own shortcomings.
