The title says it all...
You get what you pay for and these days that amount (I paid around 60.00 on Sept 2008) can get you very far. Much further than this product.
- The pixels are rather big so picture quality is not good when you want attention to detail.
- Picture dimensions 3072x2304 (Standard 7Mp dimensions) or 2592x1944 (Standard 5Mp dimensions) will not fill the screen. There are around 1/2 inch black strips on the left and the right of the picture.
- The graphics of the menu environment are nowhere near today's graphics.
- There are a lot of options to change the colours of the display but the process is long and very annoying because after every change, you have to go back to the main menu to start the slideshow and check if the picture looks any better. If it doesn't you have to go back in to the main menu choose settings and navigate to the colours in order to fiddle them and do that over and over again...
- You can't pick a compilation of folders to watch as slideshow. You have to watch the slideshow for either one folder or the whole memory card/USB stick. However you CAN put it in shuffle mode.
- I didn't try the sound much but it is nothing special.
- Clock, alarm and calendar functions are ok. It would be great if they were customisable.
It is ok if you are planning on placing it at least 3 meters away from you. If that's not the case try spending an extra tenner and go for something special, I'd say.

I bought this photo frame at the end of September, am today returning it to Amazon as it no longer works,it will not power on.

Present for Xmas - After very little use the colours went from the screen and all icons were 'ghosted' - took ages to find out who to complain to and eventually after many chasing e-mails obtained address to return faulty item - Still waiting after 2 weeks for acknowledgement or confirmation hopefully will get the frame returned - Regret fact that more Well known Manufacturer product wasn't chosen - would certainly not recommend this product
Why wont it play music and show photos at the same time?? September 29, 2008

We bought this for our disabled son as he loves music and photos. However, we cannot get it to do both at the same time! We are using a 2gb Sandisk memory card. It plays both individually, but makes noises and freezes if we try to play both together - any help or ideas please???

Worked well for one day. Next day the picture quality went from bad to worse and the quality could not be improved despite the adjustments available. Maybe this item was defective. Looking for the replacement, hope it is better?
