5 out of 5 stars Very good quality cam   August 9, 2008

I bought this a while back and have been very pleased since the day I received it. This cam offers everything that you could want in a cam for the price you pay. The quality of the video and the built in mic' is excellent and well worth the money.

There are better cams on the market but when looking for value for money this will not let you down.

2 out of 5 stars Logitech Quickcam Software   April 2, 2007

I bought the Fusion and installed the Quickcam software on my XP SP2 laptop. This caused huge instability and resulted in my having to reinstall XP from scratch. The latest version of the QC software downloaded from the website and installed on my new XP install caused exactly the same problem.

Investigation on the Logitech Forums reveals that this is a fairly common problem and seems to be down to a conflict between the Quickcam software and some mainstream Anti Virus software. BEWARE.

I haven't been able to resolve the issue so have had to use basic windows drivers which don't have the bells and whistles and produce results that look like they have come from a camera a quarter of the price.

In short the camera appears to be good but be very very careful using it on a PC that has a virus checker installed.
