Solid performer July 1, 2008 This is my 5th or 6th Epson printer and i use it alot. I take photographs as a hobby for friends and relatives and use the cd and photo printing features regulary.
Overall i am very happy with my purchase (having had it approx 12 months) and have used 4 complete sets of ink, which isn't too bad compared to some other printers out there and is a huge improvement on previous Epson's.
The print quality is excellent but is quite a bit darker than on my monitors (I used the excellent Spyder 3Pro for calibration) and this is my main reason for dropping one star. The printer does an excellent job of representing colours, contrasts and tones but really does struggle to get the brightness correct, it took me quite a lot of messing around with settings to get a good overall picture and now print everything through Photoshop CS2.
One other point of note is that it really isn't meant for black and white document printing as it takes an age and isn't very sharp when complete. Then again, i didn't buy it for document printing, I bought it for photos and cd printing - both of which it does incredibly well for a consumer product.
Another winner from Epson! June 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Having had an R300 before, I was looking for a replacement that would give me great quality and the ability to print directly onto CDs and DVDs (something the R300 was superb at). I am not disappointed.
The unit has a slightly larger footprint than the R300, but the new features such as direct printing via Bluetooth, memory cards and mobile phone plus an excellent high-colour screen more than make up for it.
The Claria inks produce photographs of amazing depth and colour up to the printer's maximum A4 size...something else I am very pleased with as I have a 10MP digital SLR. The bundled software is also easy to use and very intuitive. All in all a 5* purchase.
Another excellent printer from Epson! March 12, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is now my second printer from Epson.
I decided to upgrade as I wanted the extra features that this one offers. I ordered a reconditioned model from Epson and they gave free delivery, full ink and a one year waranty.
Installing the printer was simple! I downloaded the latest drivers from their site (nothing against Epson - but I do this with everything that needs a driver).
This printer works perfectly with Microsoft Windows Vista.
The screen is very clear and easy to use. You can plug most USB devices into the front of the printer (Including my LG Viewty KU990 mobile phone). It finds the images on the plugged in device and selecting photos to print is easy and straight forward.
The CD/DVD printing option is excellent - just flip a switch on the printer place the disk on the tray and you can print direct from either a memory card or phone. If you opt to use the bundled CD software then you have even more options!
I am very happy with this printer and will be looking to Epson again when it is time to upgrade!
Excelent Printer January 22, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Only had this printer a short while, but so far pleased. This is replacing a Epson R300 Printer which was a very good Printer and lasted over 2 years without any problems and was still working great when I replaced it with this R360. The colour screen is a bonus and the printing results so far are very good and photos are excelent and you are hard pressed to notice the difference from lab prints. CD printing is also very good and is also a bonus. Not sure about how long ink lasts as yet. I am a bit confused weather you can use compatables with this printer, I have read plenty of reviews witch says you should not use compatables only originals, as compatables can damage and not work properly in the R360. I Used compatables with my R300 and never had any problems. This is way I only give a 4 star instead of 5.

Mine lasted a month before giving up. I was probably unlucky but this was a huge waste of money.
