5 out of 5 stars Best portable mouse ever   January 7, 2009
spent more than i wanted to for a mouse when i bought this, but it is awesome! best portable mouse out there by a long shot

2 out of 5 stars Warning - the wheel fails over time!   December 4, 2008
Shame - this mouse is perfect in every way to start with - be warned though that after a few months of use the (initially brilliant) microgear free wheel fails so that instead of free-wheeling it basically gets stuck. I got one replaced because of this problem and now it is happening again. If it weren't for this I'd have given it 5 stars. All the positive reviews here were probably written soon after purchase - be warned.

1 out of 5 stars Poor performance with the buttons   September 30, 2008
OK, it looks great but what is important in a mouse is that the pointer tracks predictably and the buttons work when you click them.

The pointer does not track predictably. Sometimes it is slow, other times it stops. This could be the surface I am using it on, but I haven't had a similar problem with other mice.

The buttons, however, are much worse. Sometimes they work, other times they don't. Sometimes you have to click half a dozen times to get the thing to work. Another problem is that a single click seems to 'store up' lots of clicks and many click commands end up being sent even though you have clicked once.

Very frustrating, not least for the price I paid for it. Fewer flash add-ons please, just concentrate on producing a mouse which at least does the core function adequately.

2 out of 5 stars Quality of wheel letting it down   September 28, 2008
I'm on my second purchase of this mouse now. The first suffered from being in my bag and the mouse buttons got done in. Also the wheel became sluggish and middle button not so good but I put this down to the abuse of travel.

So liking it a lot and cursing my own abuse of it I bought a second one, got a box to keep it in to keep it safe unlike last time and thought that would be me happy.

Except no, the mouse wheel is getting sluggish again. It's really fast and loose to begin with but over 3-4 months its gone the same way as the previous ones and is now getting really bad to use.

Was considering buying another so I wouldn't have to transport it everywhere (I really do like it) but the mouse wheel is a serious let down.
