No fuss, speedy solution January 3, 2009 Got this mouse because I'd spilt a drink on my laptop and the touch pad had become temperamental. This was the perfect solution - just plugged it in, and the laptop (a Fujitsu Siemens model) had automatically got it going in around two minutes. The wire is just the right length if your USB ports are the opposite side to where you use the mouse (I'm right-handed, and my USB ports are on the left-hand-side, but the mouse is still comfortable to use).
For the price, this is a very convenient solution, especially if you don't want to mess around with the software - just plug it in and go.
Excellent!! December 20, 2008 Don't hesitate, if your'e thinking about it- buy it! Wish I had bought this ages ago. Didn't even need the software, just plugged it in and off it went!My old mouse was just that- old and the old type with ball. This is incredible, fast extremely smooth,a lovely shape, very comfy in the hand and the best price ever. You can't go wrong with this.Have had no problems whatsoever
What a mouse!!!! December 12, 2008 When I bought this mouse I was expecting it to be good as I have never had a problem with any Logitech products. When I unpacked it and plugged it into the laptop it connected and started working within a few seconds and I have to say its probably the best mouse I have ever had. The accuracy is amazing and being a laser mouse it will work on any surface. The Logitech software is brilliant and lets you customise every button. If this mouse was twice the price I would still think its barging. You cant go wrong.
Brilliant replacement for bog-standard Dell mouse November 14, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The Dell mouse that came with our PC became arthritic all too quickly. Single clicks kept turning into double clicks. Whatever we did, something stuck and we got an action we didn't want.
I searched Amazon for 'USB mouse' and found this one. It's brilliant. The slim shape is fine for someone like me with thin fingers. It is ultra-responsive - indeed, I had to get used to how fast it moved! It is also equally good for left-handers such as myself.
If I have one criticism, it is that when I installed the downloadable SetPoint software from Logitech's site, it automatically reset the buttons to right-handed (I had reversed them in Windows Control Panel). Having corrected that, there was a further problem on shutting down Vista. SetPoint then lost the left-handed settings when the 'Save and Quit' option came up in Firefox 3. I ended up disabling SetPoint. It's no great loss, just don't bother with it.
But apart from that, I cannot fault it. Highly recommended. A remarkable bargain.
Great mouse and great service from Amazon November 14, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a fantastic product at a bargain price. The mouse is comfortable to use and the downloadable software makes customising the buttons and other functions easy. It's a good weight and the laser technology works perfectly. If you currently use a 'ball' mouse or even an optical one, I recommend you upgrade to one of these. You'll certainly notice the difference and for under a tenner, it's a bargain!
I ordered this after 2100 on 11/11/08 using free super saver delivery. it was dispatched on the 12th and arrived on the 14th. Superb service from Amazon and Royal Mail.
