1 out of 5 stars Absolute rubbish - do not buy   January 5, 2009
I bought 2 of these cards in January 2008 and both have enjoyed light usage and careful handling. The first corrupted within a month and now the other has locked completely. They simply stop working and thereafter cannot be read or formatted; freezing file manager in a pc or giving 'unrecognisable data type' in cameras/printers/photoframes etc. Please avoid this unreliable product. I am using Kingston cards now and so far so good.

1 out of 5 stars Wrong Card, seem a bit odd and - not a detrimental review of Transcend Cards   January 2, 2009
Before anyone complains about this review I am not actually commenting directly on the Transcend 2GB card.

Also, the review does not I believe relate to the current 3rd party seller at the time of writing this.

I tried to order this card, and did so from this page however the 3rd party seller sent me SanDisk cards. Of the many I ordered none of them work correctly. In my new Samsung camera they freeze and you cannot review photos. I have a 2GB Kingson card and have no issues in the same camera. I tried the cards in other devices including my Wii (where I already have the genuine white wii Sandisk card) and lost a game I downloaded from the wii shop onto it. In addition they did not work properly (either corrupting data or not loading correctly) in my Navman SatNav, a pentax camera and when I tried so save word files to the device the disk would not even open on another computer.

This review is more to gauge if anyone else has experienced such problems? Or is this a one off?

A one star review seems harsh on the actual Transcend card however I ordered the item from this page and recieved a different substandard product which deserves no more than one star.

Would not format in my daughter's Samsung camera nor could be read by my Panasonic Lumix. SanDisk cards, however, worked fine first time. Avoid.

5 out of 5 stars SD Card   November 22, 2008

Great price and product, the only problem I had was with my Ricoh camera that didn't like the card. It would crash the card and I would loose the last 5 or so pictures. I updated my camera drives via the internet and they worked perfectly now.
