5 out of 5 stars I am very pleased with this   November 20, 2008
I bought this to replace my Audiax FM Transmitter. I am not sure about the other reviews, but I have been really impressed with this piece of kit.

I was delighted with this. In comparison I found this gave a very acceptable FM signal with barely any Hiss. I also like the fact that this did not have preset frequencies, but have the ability to manually scan through the FM Band. I was also impressed by the inclusion of the car adaptor, as this means there is no more going through batteries. hooray!!

2 out of 5 stars Hit and Miss   July 24, 2008
There are loads of products like this now, but a year or so ago this was one of the few available. So I bought one. Lasted a day or two until a police car overtook me on the motorway and there was a loud bang. Thankfully no damage to the iPod but the Tunecast never worked again. No idea why. So I bought another one. What I've found is that sometimes it works really well and other times it doesn't work well at all. Have tried lots of different fixes... Being the only person in the car seems to help (again, no idea why) as does having the iPod on my lap. Even when it's working, though, I generally have to keep tuning to different frequencies because Radio 2 repeatedly elbows my tunes out of the way. Frustrating. One day I'll buy a car stereo that allows me to plug the iPod in, but for now this will have to do.

1 out of 5 stars JUNK   July 20, 2008

I bought one of these today and it was dead right out of the box. I paid 25 pounds for it and to be quite honest I do not know how a company like Belkin can put their name on such junk. When stuff was made in the UK there was never any problems, but today with everything being made in China?????? Well you know what I'm saying!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1 out of 5 stars does not work   June 28, 2008
This product does not work as promised. Placed beside a radio it gives a weak, noisy signal. Cannot use it in my car, there is no signal, not even if I place the Belkin on the carroof beside the antenna !!! Do not use money ons this.

1 out of 5 stars Not worth bothering with - I'm back here to look for an alternative...   June 18, 2008
I bought one of these a while ago and have just got round to trying it out. The signal to noise ratio is dire even under "test" conditions - in the car in the garage or even in the living room via a hi-fi. It's a pity because you can hear that the underlying quality of sound is there, but with the level of noise (hiss) that you get on top, personally I couldn't live with it for more than 30 seconds. So here I am looking for something much, much better (hopefully).
