As long as your writer can burn 16x discs, these are great! May 7, 2008 As long as your DVD Recorder is compatible with 16x discs, then Emtec brand DVD+R discs should be fine. The only coasters that I made were when I tried burning the discs using a DVD Recorder that can only burn to 8x.
After successfully burning almost 100 DVD+R's (about 3 or 4 coasters from the reason stated above) all the discs are performing fine. We're talking about DATA, Movies, ISO's, and Music archiving.
These Discs do NOT work. Don't buy April 15, 2008 This is the ONLY item I have ever returned to amazon. I highly recommend they stop selling them. They are useless pieces of plastic.
Absolutely terrible March 11, 2008 I have never left any negative feedback but I just had to for this item. Almost every single disc did not record, I've gone through all of them and I have managed to burn a total of six out of fifty. Terrible, avoid.
As the price goes down so does the quality February 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I started using these discs when they first arrived on Amazon and couldn't fault them, no coasters out of about 400+ Discs! I used DVD Identifyer and the dye they were using was a Mitsubishi MCC004, which is top quality. Unfortuantly the quality has drastically dropped and they're using a awful CMC Magnetics dye.
I made the mistake of buying a 100 more of these and they will not burn in any DVD Burner I've tried - they will however work okay in a DVD Recorder, which I guess makes them worth the 1 star rating.
useless discs, first 5 out of 5 coasters February 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i have never had this ammount of failures with any discs before. i'm using the same software as usual, but these discs won't work- at any speed.
