Back when I bought this flash drive, it costed [...]. However, in the time the price has dropped it has served me well. The quality of it is nice, and I found the way the lid fits onto the other end really useful.
Over time, it has suffered from my pockets in the following ways:
*the text has rubbed off
*the silver paint has rubbed off
*the lid has become more lose - when I bought it it was quite stiff
However, none of this is a huge problem - it shows just how well it has stood the test of time.
There is nothing overly special about this flash drive - it doesn't have password protection, lanyard and the like included, but what you get is a solid flash drive that will keep the data safely for a long time, at a very cheap price.
However I would not recommend this flash drive - with a 2GB model costing only a few pounds more, theres no reason not to get one with more capacity.

I've had it since April and its fantastic. I use it to transfer data from home to work and usually just chuck it into my bag with a lot of other things. I know some people say that its fragile but inspite of careless usage, it hasn't been damaged and still works great.

I got the 512Mb memory stick about March 2006 and have had no complaints whatsoever. I use it between 1.1 and 2.0 USB ports and the difference isn't noticeable.
I've seen a few reviews commenting on the build quality / durability, but I have no complaints about this. I've had it rattling around in my pockets and in my rucksack and all is still intact.

Enough storage for my needs, works well, attractive enough design. Basically does what it should do. In my opinion, good value for money as well!
Prompt delivery also made it good!

Does its job, but the plastic casing is quite fragile - I snapped the thin plastic loop off the back and have had to superglue it back on.
Other than that, good value and reliable; for a USB stick you can't ask for much else.
