 Disappointing January 7, 2009
I was very disappointed after hearing all the amazing reviews to find that when my iPod was placed in the docking station it didnt playback my music. the product information claims it is compatable with ALL iPods, including the nano which i own, but clearly this is untrue as it doesnt work after my second, brand new docking station of this make. very disappoitning and i shaln't be purchasing anything from intempo again.

I searched the net for a decent docking station at a reasonable price that could be used with an older Nano. I read all the reviews on this item which were mostly positive. When it arrived (for a Christmas present) it did look a bit plasticky but you get what you pay for I thought. The sound though is poor and crackly despite fiddling with all the tuning bits, the remote didn't work but worst of all it comes with a message in the packaging that tells you that it doesn't work well with older generation Nano's. Now why didn't they put that on the description. Mine is re-packaged and waiting for someone to collect.

These speakers are outstanding as for the price the sound quality is very good, and it looks stylish and more expensive than it actually is. It charges your ipod too so it is great to leave your ipod in all the time. The only slight snag is that it is NOT portable, as although it doesn't say it is in the description, it is a wrong assumption, and that is slightly frustrating. However that aside, it really is great value for money and there won't be a reason to take it back if you decide to purchase this good.

I had many reservations about buying these speakers but after reading the Amazon reviews and not wanting to spend 100 on Apple speakers, I decided to go for these when they were 19.99.
Yes, you get what you pay for in the ever-so slightly cheap looking plastic, however it's nothing to worry about and the sound quality is excellent. Easy to install and use; my iPod nano looks great in it. Would definately recommend.

I decided to buy these speakers on the strength of the reviews and ratings, most of which said that they were pretty good. I completely agree! They are definitely value for money, but not just that, they are good quality speakers with decent sound. We have them in our lounge and when we are listening to music the sound is good enough for us to not bother getting a system. They would probably be good enough for a small party or social gathering, but obviously not for a big party or a big space. Perfect for what they are. Thoroughly recommend
