Quality Product December 25, 2008 These headphones are simply superb the hissing sound that people mention is extremely quiet when even there and the sound quality of the headphones are excellent the bass is very good and the surround sound option is very useful, i use them for listening to music and gaming and the headphones are ideal for both of these, music sounds great and it makes your gaming experience alot more wholesome and enjoyable and allows you for example to hear where the bulets are coming from clearly, i would reccomend these to anyone, albeit the wideness of the headband makes you look a bit silly and the open backs mean they are quite loud to the outside world.
Do exactly what you want them to do December 22, 2008 These are great headphones, with good audio quality. Comfortable enough to wear for long periods (e.g. all day while working), if slightly bulky - but at least they don't weigh very much.
I've bought two pairs so I can use the PC and listen to mp3s while the TV also has these and they don't interfere (because you can set the base station to use one of three possible channels).
Not cheap but well worth it.
Awesome Product!! December 10, 2008 Befor deciding to purchase these i actually read lots of previous reviews, so decided to take the plunge and buy them. I must say i am extremely delighted with these and not only are they well made but the sound quality is great, set up was very easy and only took a few minutes. I would highly recommend these to anyone thinking of purcasing a good quality set of cordless headphones!!

Sennheiser RS130 - Wireless Headphones
Great quality and excellent range - can wear them while outside tinkering in the garage with no break-up or distortion. Very comfortable to wear.
One or two reviews have complained of 'hiss' during pauses. You can virtually irradicate this by turning volume on headset down, and turning up volume on input device.
Recharging system is brilliant too.
Overall 10/10
More of a gadget than an audiophile's tool September 21, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased this pair of headphones a few months ago and was rather disappointed.
Downside:
1) To begin with, there is a perpetual hissing in the background that no matter where I place the transmitter, I cannot avoid - after all, I am limited by the length of the audio cable so it has to be within three meters of my amplifier which necessitates it being close to my tv, speakers, subs etc...
2) Hissing aside, I was rather disappointed with the sound quality which I would say is comparable to a 25-30 pound set of wired headphones.
Upside:
1) The range is rather impressive and the quality is pretty constant throughout.
Final points:
1) To address a criticism I've been noticing regarding distortion at loud volumes, I notice a significant reduction in distortion if the surround sound function is disabled when playing loud music.
2) These headphones need a good 30 hours of playing before they are run in otherwise the bass is rather sharp and shallow.
