2 years on and still good August 25, 2008 Very good speakers, bought them for my laptop at uni so could listen to music and movies, really good quality and good price, only problem i now have with them is after 2 years, sometimes one of the speakers does not play and is tempremental, but if i adjust volume the speakers both come to life!
Good value January 7, 2008 Surprisingly hard to find speakers that aren't black and enormous these are very smart, bass can be a bit overwhelming but get the sub woofer off the floorboards and away from the walls and the balance is pretty good, work well in a 12ft square room, I can't imagine you could do better for 40
Let down by poor subwoofer August 2, 2006 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought these speakers to replace my clapped out old hi-fi and I have to say that after reading all the other positive reviews I was a little disappointed. The main speakers have reasonably good sound quality with the treble and mid-range crisp and clear, especially when at ear level, the sound however tends to deteriorate if you like to sit up higher. The subwoofer however really lets these speakers down. I initially had it placed under my desk but the bass was overwhelming. I'm sure this will appeal to the Max Power crowd but it doesn't sound good. Even after I moved the subwoofer out from under the desk it was still too bassy and the bass was slow and wollowey instead of sharp and tight. With the no way to control the levels on the speaker system I had to turn the bass down on the equalisers on media player and winamp. If it wasn't for that I would have sent them back. For the money these speakers aren't really that bad. They do look very nice and with a lot of adjustment you can get reasonable sound quality but I would recommend spending a bit more money for something more refined.
Fantastic value for money February 19, 2006 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Wonderful speakers!! They've got to be the best in their price range...and probably better than many more expensive sets. We have a set of speakers downstairs for which we paid twice the amount as I did for these Trust speakers and there is no noticable difference in the sound quality.
I love how the towers are so easy to fit anywhere. They're slim and stylish, but with a good sturdy base, there's no danger of them falling over. The base unit has great full sound...
Our house now has three sets of these (one for each member of the family) and we recommend them to anyone looking for good speakers.
amazing speakers! January 13, 2006 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
my speakers costing £10 recently packed in on me so had been looking around the shops for some new ones, however could not find a suitable pair. Then saw this Trust SP-3600A Speakerset, i love them! The sound is unbelievable, i can hear a base in my music! i strongly recommend these trust speakers. No faults to report, you can plug your mp3 in an play your songs too! they also look very stylish:)
