Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Great, but not the cheapest.....   December 26, 2006

This is a great lens which increases the versatility of the already excellent E900 camera.

Just check out Amazon product code B000GQ5EHM which gets you this lens, the telephoto lens, and the lens adapter ring, all for less than the price of this lens on its own. It's a no-brainer!

5 out of 5 stars SLR effects for the price of lunch   January 13, 2006

Really useful wide angle lens that gives an already superb range of cameras an extra SLR like functionality. The lens gives a 35mm format equivalent of around 22mm, so great for architectural work.

Two small points, this lens allows you to take macro shots within a few mm of the lens, (impossible with an SLR).

Also the Exif information with any photos taken suggests a focal length of 7mm (ie the native focal lens of the existing lens). This however is only a problem if you are using manipulation programs that need to know the focal length, for instance if you wish to correct verticals or in auto stitching programs etc.

Another bonus is the adapter lens you have to purchase will except standard 43mm filters for use with the existing built in lens.
