5 out of 5 stars best value for money   February 27, 2008

these look similar to the 242 labtec headset but the sound is noticably better. Build quality is reasonable and ergonomic. I've had top of the range Sennheiser headphones costing me 150+ and after lots of use they broke after a year so just don't expect to pay more and get something that'll last you a lifetime. Nothing does. These will last you a reasonable amount of time until you've a bigger budget and by then a better new model will have come out anyhow. Grab yourself a bargain

2 out of 5 stars Good, for a while   January 24, 2007

Being a student on a budget I bought these back in April 2006, so I could talk to family and friends whilst away from home. Did the job great, clear at both ends of conversation and no complaints, but only for about 6 months, when one speaker went intermittent, then died completely. Not a big deal, until the other speaker did the same last week. Doh! So 9 for 9 months? Replacement set will be of better quality.

4 out of 5 stars Wires   September 29, 2006

The Qualitiy of these headphones is great and the adjustable microphone works well. Unfortunately the microphone and audio wires only seperate 3 inches from the end of the wire. This may mean you have to unplug you main speaker each time you want to use the headset if you dont have a microphone port and a headphone port on the front of your computer.

4 out of 5 stars Cheap and worth it!   September 23, 2006

I bought this headset mainly for the price, and its definitely worth it! I use it all the time on MSN and it works great! The mic records clearly and when having voice conversions on Messenger there isn't any problems! I'd definitely recommend this for someone on a budget!

1 out of 5 stars Could do better.   April 1, 2006

The sound is acceptable (nice and clear) but the microphone is awful. My buddies on teamspeak could hardly hear me. Not the most comfortable for me either. Get a set of altec lansing instead. Same cost but more comfort, better sound a mic that works and an inline volume/mic control.
