Just fine for Fuji S9600 July 25, 2008

After some hunting, it seemed the reviews were not in favour of the Fuji OEM leather case, and as a previous user of products like Tamrac was looking for something similar. This is pretty close, though whether this will stand up to regular use well, like the Tamrac kit does, is a test of time. Construction is fine, with the case having a padded build and material that looks like it would see off a shower or so with no real worries (noting the lid flap overlaps the sides when closed) Might benefit from a wider shoulder strap with a non slip section too. I might have that off one of my older cases instead, as a slippy slidy strap just drives me nuts.
S9600 drops in nice and cosy, even with the anti flare attachment on, and lid inner is nice soft material to protect your LCD.
Front pockets are just fine. 2 little compartments accept a couple of XD cards in their cases, and there's still room for another set of batteries.

Bought this bag when I got my Nikon D40 as I wanted the smallest possible bag. Fit's the D40 very snugly but wont fit even if the neck strap is attached, but I don't use this anyway. The top doesn't completely close whilst the D40 (and kit lens) is inside but it is designed to stretch a little and allows for the fastener to still clip together, doesn't look odd or anything, and no gaps though.
At first, thought this bag was extremely uncomfortable using the shoulder strap provided but found that fastening the bag round my belt first (it has a large velcro flap on the back that allows you to do this) and then using the shoulder strap as well took a lot of the strain of my shoulder and stopped the bag from moving around and tipping upside down. Using this method, I hardly even notice it is there.
Has a handy pocket on the front for spare memory cards etc. but if your looking for something that will fit the charger/extra lenses, you should definitely opt for the bigger one.
Overall, probably more suitable for large point and shoot cameras but I wanted to travel light and this allows me to do it without looking too touristy.

Fits a Canon 400d with stock lens snugly, about an inch of room on the top but this is useful for holding other stuff.

I bought this for my Nikon D80 and on arrival found it to be a perfect fit and excellent quality. Easily takes the camera with a 18-135 Lens attached, spare battery and memory cards.

I purchased this item for my Fuji Finepix S6500fd and it fits comfortably inside the case with room for just a few extra items, memory cards, batteries, filter etc. I have other Lowepro products and this one is up to the same high standards and specifications we have come to expect from this brand. An excellent choice and a better price than on the High Street...
