Trust you precious data to the best brands December 5, 2008
If you're gonna save your precious data then you should do it using the best CD-R or DVD-R media available. There are cheaper options but I've learned from bitter experience that you get what you pay for in the data storage world. No point saving a few quid if the data is unreadable 2 years down the line. Imation or Verbatim every time.
Good everyday disks December 4, 2008
Not much to complain about with these disks. For general everyday use they are good for storing data or burning music on to - may not be the top quality, but hey, who can really tell the difference at this level. I copy the data on them, I can read the data back both at the time and also 2 years later (I bought these 2 years ago) with no problems. If you wanted to copy data onto a CD-R disk to keep for a long time, then yes, you will be recommended to use the best disks you can buy, but for an everyday CD-R, these are good value.

Shame you don't get cases, but for this price that really isn't surprising. I burnt music to my CDs and the sound quality was good, and they worked in all the different CD players I tried (car/house stereo which is an old Bang & Olufsen one). I was a bit worried about buying blank CDs, last time I did, they didn't play on any stereo except one which was about 20 years old and didn't work properly...but these ones do work, and so I'm very happy with them! Worth buying in my opinion if you're looking for general blank CDs to pop in your walkman..

They might not be the best blank cd's you can buy, but for the money, they are unbeatable value. You can record up to 80 minutes of music or 700mb of computer files. I have bought hundreds of these down the years and not one of them has ever failed. Highly recommended for general use. The only problem (but not big enought to rate a loss of a star) is that you do not get any dual cases with them.
