If you want a quality soundard, this is the one for you, although the performance of the Extigy is almost as good, (My Brother has that one).

Ok, this is the best SoundCard ive had so far, easily. If you buy this with the "Creative Labs Gigaworks S750 7.1 THX Speakers" setup you will have THE best sound system EVER.

This kit comes with a remote and when using the "media source" software player that comes with it you can play/paulse/stop/ffwrd/rewind songs just like you can with a CD player and change the bass level and so on all by using the remote... saves me getting up and walking a whole 3 FOOT STEPS!! omg. Anyhoo, you get a on-screen-display when the remote is used, like for instance with a TV, when the volumes turned up a on screen volume bar appears, same with this but on the comps screen. I dont use my stereo system anymore coz of this... the sound on this card is perfect, and it has quite a few options to mess with to get the sound how you want.

The card would take about 15mins to install and get running... by the way you dont have to connect the card to the CD ROM(s), the PCI bus will handle that, its only for really old comps that you would have to do that.

This comes with two games, with mine i got some tomb raider game (how can anyone like tomb raider? honestly...) and rainbow six 3 which aint that bad.

For musicians, there may be a better soundcard out there like the "DSP24 MEDIA 7.1" by ST Audio, its more for pro music makers (and comes with an onboard GM/GS hardware synthesizer) not that this is'nt, coz its also very good for music making... but i got the Audigy-2 ZSPP coz its simply the best all-round soundcard at the moment.

I love listening to music & bought this card from Amazon to replace an OEM Audigy card.

There are many many good points about this 'kit'... ease of installation & configuration, build quality, connectivity, bundled software etc etc etc
And I haven't found any bad points.

Most importantly for me, sound quality is truly astonishing – noticeably better than the original Audigy OEM.

It may be something of an indulgence unless you wish to explore musical creativity but if you love music and object to crawling around the floor to access audio connectivity, indulge yourself. I really love this card!

Being a musician with not a lot of money, this sound card is a dream come true. With the right software and a bit of practice I've started recording my own compositions and being able to do this is wonderful. You cannot fault the quality of the recording.

Installation is very simple and the software that comes with it is very good.

I bought this because I wanted to record music so I don't really know how much it can benefit gaming and DVD playback because these don't interest me. But I can tell you that for musicians this is an excellent first step into the art of digital recording. GO BUY NOW!
