Brilliant tool August 26, 2006 What can I say its perfect. Completely reliable and as for battery life...well they state that the 2x AA will last six months, I have been using this now for 13 months, every day I might add and it is still using the batteries that were supplied with it. Well worth the 24 that I paid for it.
Fits like a glove... November 16, 2005 Perfect for right hand use and doesnt seem to cause any problems at the moment. The side buttons are really useful for browsing web pages(FORWARD and BACK functions).Minor con is that the range is a bit limited in my opinion... This is a GOOD BUY. :)
A great mouse for the price August 20, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this as a replacement for my Microsoft Intellimouse Optical which died. When I recieved the new mouse, I was somewhat surprised by its chunky looks. However, it is an extremely comfortable mouse to use, if you are right handed that is. Definetly not suitable for left handed mouse users. It even copes with the slightly reflective surface of my desk. The old mouse didn't. Mouse mats are now a thing of the past. Setup was very straightforward as Win XP SP2 did all the work for me. Would definelty reccommend.

This has to be the best thing i have ever bought for my pc. it decreces clutter while looking good. all the buttons are useful in their own way. MUST BUY!
Finally free of the ball and wire! April 2, 2005 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
It took me a long time to abandon my old mouse, which was definitely old school, sporting both ball and wire. Now that I've installed the Intellimouse, I can't believe I didn't make the change sooner. The mouse itself is very ergonomically styled and fits the hand snugly (although with its shape and thumb buttons it is unashamedly a right-handed mouse only, unfortunately). The receiver unit plugs into a spare USB socket on the PC, or into the PS/2 socket if need be using a supplied adaptor. Set the receiver down on your desk, and the mouse is free to roam unhindered. The absense of wire is a real boon, and so far the optical tracking seems very precise and responsive. The software allows customisation of all five buttons, scroll speed, etc and is very quick and easy to install. All in all a very good product maintaining the high standards you expect from Microsoft hardware. Recommended for right-handed users, but left-handed users will probably want to look elsewhere.
