This book covers a great deal to do with landscapes, settings, mood, composition, perspective, and basically how to convay that vision you have in your head, faithfully, in your choosen medium. It is certainaly NOT a how to book for beginners. However even though I have been doodling, scibbling and general all round basic mark making, for a good few years now, in the name of Art; I found this book very usefull. Yes it covers a lot I already knew from exsperience but, there was still plenty in this book I didn't know or hadn't even concidered yet.
The only reason it does not have 5 stars is that in some parts of the book it gets a little unclear and confusing about what it is trying to convay. ( Nothing beats face to face conduct between artists when discussing art techniques )However it is indeed a very good book.
I will be buying this book very shorty, however, first I need to take this book back to the local library.
