5 out of 5 stars Best desktop mouse yet... for a right handed man   December 13, 2008
There are many extended reviews so I'll keep this one short.

Pros:
- The scrolling action is the best yet! You don't know what you're missing until you've tried it, and it won't do it's magic until you plug-it in. Check it out on youtube: []
- The comfort is excellent if you have a man sized hand and you're right-handed
- The customisation of button functions is second to none (I've never used those gamers' mice though.)

Cons:
- Battery life is short without a recharge - although there it has a docking station which recharges the mouse so it's not a biggy - just makes it a bad for a laptop mouse
- Range from the USB to the mouse is short IMO. I use this mouse with the usb extended cable that comes with some of these mice - don't remember if one is included. You should be fine for normal use but if your box is setup far from the area you use your mouse you might need to improvise.

So there might be room for improvement in the future - but this is the best desktop mouse out now for a right handed man!

4 out of 5 stars Good mouse but over-rated and to expensive.   October 30, 2008
Its good mouse but over rated and over priced. Features i like are the forward and back buttons on the side, and on vista mutable page viewing on the side. I don't like the scroll wheel and can't configure it to my liking is either to fast or to slow and not smooth. Cursor works like dream and excellent.

Its good mouse but nothing wow out this world you would aspect with mouse costing this much. If however you have jumped from mouse that is three-four years old then you will be impressed. But there are many mouses on the market that are just as good ( without extra features ) that are a lot cheaper -

Battery life is good - Pc picks up the wireless mouse by tiny wireless usb stick that goes into back of computer ( no wires ) - Recharger you can keep hidden away in draw and just get out when need be. Also the mouse has lights down side to and lets you know when it needs recharging which is great feature to have.

The scroll wheel and cost is let down otherwise i would of given it 5stars - ( The scroll wheel might just be me needing to get used to it ) I still think however, this mouse it to hyped about because my windows mouse was just as good and smooth to use minus the extra features.

5 out of 5 stars Superb buil quality, excellent mouse   October 27, 2008
The latest edition to my expanding Logitech collection, this truely is a fantastic mouse. Never before did I think I could get quite so excited over a mouse - at the end of the day they move the cursos on the screen - and hey, i'd been using a generic, un branded wirelss mouse for a couple of years and never had problems - until it started eating batteries!
That was one of the reasons I brought this - the rechargeable batteries and charging stand make it so easy to use, as well as the LED's on the mouse and the included software making it easily noticeable of the batteries level and when they need recharging. I get several weeks of quite intensive use between charges and have noticed no lag in games including Unreal Tournament, Halo and World of Warcraft. The hyperscrolling is a really nice feature, though seems to have some problems in Adobe Reader. Overall it is really comfortable to use with a very good natural feel. The side buttons and second scroll wheel become automonous use and now when im using a standard mouse on other PC's find myself reaching for buttons which aren't there.

The quick search button is also very useful, allowing you to select text from any program or window and search for it using your default search engine. Also a little side note: this 'copy, paste, search' feature uses an independant clipboard, so if you have something else being 'held' by Ctrl+C using this won't empty that.

My only slight annoyance is when charging the mouse, it seems to emit a high pitched almost squel like sound which I have not been able to solve. Its not that loud and not at all noticeable during the day, but at night trying to sleep in the same room can cause trouble, especially if like me you are a light sleeper! (My solution - charge the mouse during the day when I'm at work and college)

3 out of 5 stars good before it broke   September 18, 2008

The mouse is comfortable and the extra buttons provide easily set up short cuts. It works fine with my Mac. However, the build quality is not great - the sideways push buttons on the wheel gave up within a month and the base gets roughened in no time, meaning it tends to stick. Gone back for replacement.

This is a great Mouse, I think one of the best, But all The goods gone with the battery, I have Charging problem from the first 2or 3 weeks. It dont charge fully and start giving error. And u cant change the batter. It should have AAA recharge battery, Then no problems, But now I have a big problem with this mouse because of battery.
