1 out of 5 stars Why bother ?   May 27, 2008

Why pay a rip-off price from Microsoft when there are loads of good free email software programs that are just as good ?

1 out of 5 stars One step forward, three steps back. Avoid.   May 26, 2008
+'s
. improved aesthetics.

-'s
. It crashes reguarly.
. It horribly bloated, if it is trying to connect to your server multi-tasking goes out the window - even using other applications is a no go. This hangs so often it is almost a given my laptop will become a frisbee at some point.
. it doesn't like HTML mails!!!
. the address system is retarded.
. it doesn't save drafts where you tell it to in the options.

Concl.
Buggy, bloated and overpriced. Stick with the old office.

(this is on new top end VAIO...)

1 out of 5 stars A step backwards   March 21, 2008
I was using outlook from Office XP. Thought it might be worth upgrading. Outlook 2007 seems to be less reliable. I've reinstalled it several times but there are problems with setting the default email account, and the application keeps on opening up in safe mode.
It can't even cope with HTML email.

I've gone back to Office XP. Shouldn't have wasted my money.

3 out of 5 stars How much ????   December 15, 2007

Are Microsoft mad? This is a very nice piece of software but lets face it, in this day and age, a 25 one. There's absolutely no justification for an e-mail client as popular as this one to be a staggering 80 plus.
I also agree its ludicrous that its not part of the Student edition. The fact that Word, Excel and OneNote combined is cheaper says it all.

5 out of 5 stars AMAZING!   November 28, 2007

This is a fantastic email client. I have just changed from Windows Live Mail and I am telling you that this is an amazing product. People have been saying that it uses Word to Render its email and all the email looks horrible but to be honest I have not told the difference. Though in a way it was a bit of a silly move my Microsoft to do this.
