4 out of 5 stars Bridge of Courage   September 9, 2008
This third volume of the Naruto manga continues Team 7's mission to the Land of Waves to protect the bridge builder Tazuna. With Kakashi still recovering from his fight with Zabuza, Naruto and his friends must learn a new technique so that they will be ready for the trials that lay ahead. This volume also includes a bit of back-story for the Land of Waves and Tazuna's family.

This volume continues the great series very well and although I did prefer the previous volume I still greatly enjoyed this one. The art is good and the story is well written with some good action, some funny moments and, at one point a nice incite into Naruto's character as well. This manga is greatly entertaining and the cliff-hanger at the end of this volume should keep you reading.

5 out of 5 stars Expect the Unexpected...   January 15, 2006
Naruto is my all time favourite manga. Both regarding plot and characters. There are enough characters to choose from after all, ranging in personality (and age.)
I liked the initial idea of the 'number one most surprising ninja' and I wasn't disappointed. All the characters have some flaws; there is a brilliant angst (yet also endearing and even funny) plot to keep interests at a high!
Plus the super tear jerker ending to this book will guarantee you'll want to buy vol.4

5 out of 5 stars The best fights so far...   August 15, 2005

Naruto volume 3 starts off calmly and then slowly begins to pick up the same fast pace from the 1st volume. In this book you get to know about the new characters more and their feelings. This helps you to understand whats happening unlike in the 2nd volume. Although at the start of the book there is little action, it will intrest many Naruto fans like myself. Fortunately for you action lovers there are 2 incredible battles at the end between Kakashi and Zabuza, then Sasuke and Haku. The Sasuke vs Haku fight is legendary, with a shocking end that will leave you gasping for more! You need to buy this if you already have the 1st and 2nd volumes just to witness the best fight in Naruto so far. A must buy for any fan!

4 out of 5 stars Naruto, volume three   May 27, 2004

This graphic novel has to be the best so far, again, like the last two manga's, the art of the Ninja is ot lost through the tale of Naruto, body of the Fox Demon. Naruto, though on his quest to become Hokage, still learns the ways of The Ninja, by using things from earlier issues. I hope this is helpful to you, thankyou. This is a recommended issue for those who have read the previous two issues.
